We’re here 24/7

Because no one should face crisis or tragedy alone.

Support. Advocacy. Hope.

In 1996, Victim Services of Simcoe County was established as a community-based registered charity to provide comprehensive support services to victims of crime and tragedy in our area. All services are available in French and English.

What We Do

We’re here to offer assistance to victims in the aftermath of a crime or tragedy. Our trained teams of staff and crisis response volunteers work around the clock to respond with emotional support, practical services and assistance in applying for emergency financial relief where applicable.

Who We Serve

We respond 24/7 upon request by police services and other designated community partners. Self-referrals are also welcome. Our service area is contained within the municipal jurisdictions listed at the bottom of this page. Our crisis line never closes and is always live-answered in support of victims of crime and other tragic circumstances, including (but not limited to) the following:

Victims’ rights are human rights.

Are you a victim of a crime or tragedy? Do you know someone who is suffering because they’ve been victimized? Victims may access service via self-referral, or referral from another service provider or individual.

We’re here for you. Our crisis telephone line never closes and is always live-answered.

Together we can foster hope and healing.

Activate Your Power

Our community becomes stronger with a shared understanding of the root causes of victimization – and the healing paths forward.

Attend An Event

Events are a great way to build community. Your participation powers our shared ability to serve and heal our neighbours so we can grow stronger together.

Host a Fundraiser

There’s no need to wait for our events to get involved – host your own! In person or online, this is your chance to let your creativity shine. How could you leverage your hobby or interest to help your community?

Book a Presentation

Does your organization or company provide learning and sharing opportunities? We are available for in person or video-based events at no cost within Simcoe County.
